Welcome to the Spring Lake Fire Department.

We’re an all-volunteer fire department proudly serving Ulster Fire District #1 in the Town of Ulster, right here in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Spring Lake FD is built on neighbors helping neighbors, and that’s something we take a lot of pride in.

Our members live and work in this community. They’re teachers, healthcare workers, students, tradespeople, and professionals from all walks of life. From our chiefs to our newest firefighters, everyone serves as an unpaid volunteer, giving their time to train, respond, and be there when our neighbors need help most.

We may not be the biggest department around, but we’re committed, well-trained, and always ready to answer the call. Everything we do is guided by a simple belief: putting others before self as we work to keep our neighbors safe every day.
