How to Obtain a Burn Permit in the Spring Lake Fire District

If you live in our fire district and would like to request a burn permit, you can do so by calling the firehouse and leave us a message. You can also stop by the firehouse on any Monday Evening around 7pm to obtain a permit from the chief. All burning must comply with NYS DEC Regulations. In addition, to comply with Town of Ulster Regulations, you must obtain a permit from the Fire Chief and notify the Ulster County 911 Center prior to and at the conclusion of your burning.
